PBT private lessons

Why private lessons are good?

As well as offering a huge boost, opportunity and development, private lessons meet the needs of the dancer and focus on exactly what the student needs, whether it's honing technique, learning choreography, practising, stretching or preparing for a serious audition. In addition to classical ballet, our private classes also teach the basics of progressive ballet technique, including rotation. We welcome you and look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

Progressive ballet technique

In addition to classical ballet education, Ballet Factory Budapest is introducing a new genre, the Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) which is only available in Hungary at a professional level at the BFB!

Many ballet schools abroad have already recognized the beneficial effects of PBT, and as Hungary's first male PBT instructor, I can see for myself how it helps students work at a fantastic pace. Thanks to this, for example, the learning of classical ballet is faster and more effective.

Its preventive exercises develop deep muscles in the body that are essential for ballet practice. The results speak for themselves.

Of course, just as with Pilates or even Floor Barre, PBT is not just for dancers, its healing power is for everyone and all areas.

ARS POETICS

WHO AND WHY

"A teacher is not only good if he or she can physically show the most difficult movements, but also if he or she can ignite inner motivation in the student. If, in addition to a love of dance, he can show how to grow, learn and succeed in this profession."

Our education

purpose:

We want to pass on to children the professional knowledge we have acquired over the years. Our aim is to make them love movement. Regular movement and dance provide conscious physical training, which helps children to perform better in many areas of life with more determination and discipline.

We work with children with care and love, looking for what they are good at and how they can develop their talents.

In addition to physical abilities, endurance, "staying power" and will are very important.

All dancers are beautiful, but for this beauty they have to fight every day, they have to work every day, they have to be present every day with all their energy.

They will take you to the highest levels of the art of dance, and to this wonderful classical genre with centuries of tradition.

Csonka Roland

  • classical ballet and Progressive Ballet Technique instructor,
  • Gyula Harangozó Prize-winning dance artist,
  • Degree in dance (classical) from the Hungarian Dance Academy

As a student of the Győr Ballet under the direction of Iván Markó, I had the opportunity to experience and learn the art of dance under the hands of fantastic masters and many opportunities to perform. From Győr I went to Budapest, where I continued my studies at the then Academy of Dance, and was also accepted into the Ballet Company of the Hungarian State Opera House. Later, as a graduate artist and a dedicated dance artist, I was able to enrich and nurture the Hungarian dance art, from a member of the dance company to a titular and then private dancer. I started teaching after my active career, with the aim of passing on to the younger generation what I have learnt in the past decades.
